The Snack Shack on Johnson Drive

Absolutely a gem of downtown Overland Park. Highly recommend stopping here if you're in the mood for a fantastic burger. Been wanting to go here for a while now and finally had the chance to stop in for lunch. Nice, cozy atmosphere with bar-style seating. I got The Bobby, which came with lettuce, pickles, grilled jalapeños, lightly grilled onions, cheese, and two patties. Delicious. Juicy patties, onions slightly browned but still crunchy melted into the cheese, perfectly done jalapeños. Also got a side of 50/50 (definitely the way to go), onion rings were crispy with flavorful batter and the softer fries were a nice contrast. Finished up with a chocolate banana malt that was extremely good. Hard to find somewhere that uses quality chocolate ice cream like this. Absolutely stop here if you get the chance. Definitely time for a nap now though lol.

Same 'ole classic Snack Shack from downtown OP relocated, has all the old cham and food but in a spruced up larger diner building. Burgers are great and the ice cream is good, go give it a shot. Kid-friendliness: Good ice cream Parking: Easy, free parking near the building.

My boyfriend and I walked into Snack Shack with zero expectations and we were completely blown out of the water!!!! Best burger and fries I’ve ever had in my entire life (I’m not exaggerating)!!!! This is such a hidden gem that just opened near our home and it will be in our rotation of places to eat. So yummy! 10/10, highly recommend! :)
