August 2021 We go for dinner often. I've not had a bad meal. This place is awesome. Amazing turnaround. This is now our go-to place! I had the baseball size meatball. It had a breadcrumb crust and was full of melted cheese inside...delicious! The gumbo needs more gumbo in it. An onion and pepper mix with 2 sausage chunks does not do it for me. I would have rated lower but it was only a cup so a bowl possibly would have presented better. ALSO, please be aware.. The pandemic has forced them into using plastic ware. Andouille sausage appetizer is very difficult to eat with plastic. It's still very good. The fish is very good too. Just wish the gumbo was as good as advertised. The waitress was not interested in how we felt, at all! Thus the 3 star even though most of the food was good. Pay attention to the customer please.

Came for baseball tourney and enjoyed the games with good restaurant and a morning bonfire. It was fun. New experience for me. Best location for a tourney I've ever been too.

NOT A FAMILY FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT 7 pm on a Sunday night after a 16u girls softball game we arrived and the bar staff thought it was appropriate to blast 2 Live Crew “hey we want some pussy” over the entire restaurant sound system. Then while waiting for our check we heard music with the N-word (with a racially motivated overtone) then again, 2 Live Crew. Not conducive of a family environment.
