The Right Recipe Soul Food and Grill Restaurant

I have been to living out this way for a little over a year and normally go to Dallas to get all my soulfood fixes. Well today I didn’t feel like making the drive and searched soul food near me this spot came up and I saw the review rush out my bed and went up there. That was the best decision I’ve ever made, I had the oxtails,Mac &cheese , yams, potato salad, and GUMBO. I swear that gumbo is the truth!!! It reminded me of my grandmas gumbo I’ve never had restaurant gumbo that was actually delicious like that !! The oxtails were bomb as well I ate a bit of all my food and just sat there in aww! My pops use to cook for my family so I’m truly picky about creole style food! THEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT ME! the staff were so friendly and sweet the constantly made sure that the restaurant was spotless after every guest! You guys definitely have gained a regular! Also check out the candles by the door they smell amazing I purchase a few that teawood coconut my lawddddddd

Wow, I’m so glad I found this on google. I see why the owner call it the right recipe, because she definitely has it! The oxtails was soooo flavorful. I got my food 30 mins before it closed and the food was still amazing, warm and just all around A+! The portions are so big. I also got the rib plate too. Great great hospitality and customer service. One more thing that signature strawberry lemonade whew. So good.

Food was pretty good. There's a cajun spice that sounds out. Overall, food was well seasoned and fresh. The young man who served me was nice. Vegetarian options: There are plenty of vegetables
