I wouldn’t go here to eat inside, but sitting out on the deck is worth a visit. Food was good, the French fries (sidewinders) are great. The service and management wasn’t the best. At one point, our server asked us what the sauce was on the plate of deep fried pickles we ordered. I never thought I’d have to explain the restaurant’s food to a server. We waited 10 minutes to be greeted and seated. The interior looks a bit like TGIFridays and loses the whole Portage Lakes vibe we love, but that’s just my opinion. In one word, “Meh” is my first impression.
We had a great dinner at The Ramp tonight! We arrived for an early dinner at 4:30pm with a group of 6 + a baby. Our server Jordan was excellent! We started with the sauerkraut balls, delicious. Excellent food with an amazing view of Portage Lake! We had wonderful mussels and a delicious chicken wrap. What a relaxing way to have a meal!
