The Port of Peri Peri

I don't normally review anything, especially restaurants I've never eaten at. However, I was at this restaurant today picking up a doordash order and I was shocked and appalled by what I saw. They keep a bucket of unrefrigerated chicken on the floor that they reached into with tongs. After placing the uncooked chicken on the grill, they used the contaminated tongs to move around already cooked chicken therefore contaminating another customer's food. When I called them out on it they got angry and statred yelling at me. SOMEBODY NEEDS TO CALL THS HEALTH DEPARTMENT ON THIS RESTAURANT.

This has to be the absolute WORSE experience I’ve ever had at a Port of Per Peri location. The Chicken, as you can see in the picture, looks something out of a Caucasian Thanksgiving dinner. The chicken was ABSOLUTELY DRY. There was no seasoning/sauce on the chicken at all. They also gave my mom a Spinach wrap with NO spinach wrap at all. They also told my mom off on the phone when she called to tell them about how bad they screwed up our order. This is absolutely disgusting behavior, especially coming from our desi muslim community. I hope that they improve the food and the customer service at the location as it very much lacks it, compared to their Villa Park and Sherville location.

I am a vegan and I LOVED their falafel pita. It’s so fresh and crispy and the garlic side compliments the sandwich perfectly. I am very impressed and will keep coming back. Give this place a try.
