3 adults and 1 six year old. Ordered the fish and chips. Meal. Ordered the burger. Meal. Chicken strips. Appetizer. Young one got Mac and cheese. Kids menu. Couple of beers. Food was Hot and delicious. Bill with tip. Over $75.00... we saw the prices. But man that got higher then was expected..Good, but a little high for my blood...
This charming Irish pub is a Dogtown favorite, across from Turtle Park and across the freeway from the Zoo. The pub has a great cozy feel, the food isn't the usual bland pub fare, and on the right day you can enjoy Irish harpers.
They're a half mile from the zoo but their food picked the flavor up from the penguin exhibit. And when paying you get the uncomfortable pleasure of your waiter standing above you while you get to choose between 20%, 25%, & 30% tip. Redeeming aspects are their cold brew and patio area.
