I used to buy their packaged meat tortellini and braised beef ravioli for years. In the last months I noticed that quality has sensibly decreased while prices has not, of course. I found that tortellini are now almost empty. They used to be really well made and decently filled. No more unfortunately. For what concerns braised beef ravioli, lately it has happened more than once that in a package two or three were completely empty, just like two layers of pasta with nothing inside (keep in mind that in a package there used to be 18 ravioli, so 2 or 3 is not a negligible amount). In addition to that, the last time I bought them I noticed that the price has gone up to $16.95 (and the count dropped to 17 even tho the weight is probably the same, I haven't checked)! IIRC a few months ago they costed $10.95/lb, so that's a huge increase. I'll no longer buy my pasta there. It's a shame as it used to be really great (and I'm sure the restaurant side of it still is but I never ate there) and the
This is a south bay chain of quick-service Italian restaurants. It is nowhere near comparable to a real Italian Restaurant, but the food is pretty good for the price. You pay at the counter and seat yourself, but there's table service so you can leave whenever you're ready. The food comes out fast and the workers are professional enough on the job, sometimes they're impatient when its busy but never really rude. My family has come here for years and I like eating here!
We came to have a pizza before going to movies. This place was a great choice. I liked everything from the interior to the service and food. The interior is very cozy, spacious and Italian: checked tablecloths, photos of Italian historic places, tiny Venetian balcony in the dining room. The place has plenty of tables, all of them were free when we were there. I appreciated that the tools plates and cups were real, not one-time plastic ones. We ordered a large pizza and some olives, paid around 33 usd. The food arrived quite fast, the pizza was big, a lot of toppings, we managed to eat only half and asked for a box for the rest. The pizza tasted great, olives as well. The service was very friendly and helpful. Overall, the place was great, I will come again.
