The Original Pancake House

Ordered Breakfast Via GRUB HUB, so my only complaint is that of course one pays so much more for items than if dined in. Pics attached & are all from the extra menu w/ exception of the grits. The quality was good. Beware, I’ve ordered the skillet before & the chopped potatoes under the eggs are orange in color and have very little veggie as it’s pictured on the website. I’d order again as needed for the convenience.

I have been dinning here for 30 +yrs, the last 2 yrs, I have been ordering takeouts. Cannot seem to get a correct, complete order, no bacon once again..so, I decided to wait until I can go to Orland Store. Well, today, my Husband wanted to get my favorite, Apple Pancake, Hashbrown and Bacon, cooked done but not hard. So, he gets home, NO BACON AND NO HASHBROWNS. The Manager was nice to replace both, But, I just couldn't eat the so hard, crunchy, dried up bacon! I threw it in the garbage! I go way back, bringing my children on Saturday's, laughing with Eddie, who knew our orders as well as my coffee. I followed her (Eddie) to Orland, sorry, she's retired now. I see nothing stays the same. This food cost wayyy to much not to enjoy! 3rd time! I'm done!

Had some of the best French Toast I’ve ever had here. The Caramel French Toast was perfectly fluffy, and paired well with the grapefruit juice I ordered. Downside was that it didn’t come with a side, so side will be charged extra. I ordered fresh fruit for mine and the fruit tasted sweet and fresh. The Dutch Treat was also a great and delicious sharing piece to get. Service was excellent, and even though it was during rush hour, the waitresses were very attentive and not time-pressing. I’m not much of a French Toast fanatic, but this one order might be one of the reasons I will be coming back!
