I pass by this place on my commute home. Our first time visiting was on a Saturday. It's cozy with plenty of choices. We ordered two sandwiches for lunch, pot roast and meat loaf. Both were delicious. Pot roast gets a slight edge because I swear it was a pound of wonderful slow cooked beef. Tip #1. Please follow the arrows on the floor. That way you follow the flow and can see everything they have to offer before placing your order. Tip #2. There's a pick up window to the left of the door. Place an order ahead of time to get your order without going in.
They're understaffed and heavily visited. We had a big order of sandwiches, and we did have to wait. Totally worth it, everyone loved theirs! They had run out of a few things, so come with a backup plan????
I will give this place 5 stars all day long for their sandwiches and hot foods. If you're in the mood for an Italian sub, meatball sub, pasta, etc -this is the place to go. The atmosphere makes you feel at home and has nothing on chain sandwich shops. I'd give them my money over jimmy johns any day. We will definitely come back for the sandwiches. With that said. They need to stick to what they're good at. Whoever bakes the cakes in the fridge. Stop. The tiramisu tasted like lemons and was dry. The Cannoli Cake was horrible. There was a liquid in the bottom of the box that had a sort of liquor taste to it. It tasted nothing like a cannoli. So bad. They have signs posted saying they are short staffed and to be nice about wait times. I totally understand this. Especially this year. However...There were 5 people behind the counter and only two people in line and it took nearly 25 minutes for me to get 3 sandwiches. I can't imagine how long a panini would take if they actually had a line g
