The Original Chubby's Mexican Food

We went in to order and there were a couple of tables with customers eating after 10 minutes no one came to take our order and no employees in sight. We said hello loudly twice and still nothing. 2 more customers came in and in all we waited 17 minutes. We all finally left because they apparently were closed or had no staff. So I can't rate the food, but since we had no service I'm going to go with a big zero for customer service. I guess they don't need any business when so many other places are willing to serve you. We went to big Mama's burritos down the street a bit and they were great. Excellent food and excellent customer service. I recommend any place but Chubbys

1st time at this location, it has been my worst experience for any Chubbys that I've been to. First off, the worker was not very personable, I get that people have bad days but I went out of my way to be kind to her and said "hello and thank you very much" to interact with her and I got no reaction at all. I ordered a smothered burrito and smothered fries to go, I was shocked to see that they served it in paper plates and stapled them shut. I wouldn't mind if I got served on a paper plate to dine-in but its a huge problem to serve the food in a paper plate to go, I am only 5 min away from this place and the paper plates were very soggy and the food was cold, seemed like they microwaved the food for a couple a minutes since the cheese was barely melted and food tasted like cardboard- maybe because of the paper plates!?! The couple before me were given their food in clear plastic containers to go, not sure how they choose on who gets a container and who gets paper plates. The other down

My family and I enjoy dining in and taking out. We strictly visit for the smothered chile cheese fries, but from time to time we will change it up. This past week, they were out of rice and they offered beans. We returned home only to find that the beans they served us were sour! Aside from the fries, they have nothing else to offer. The employees lack customer service, and the place is not ever clean.
