The Olive Tree Restaurant - Hiram

This place is a hidden gem! I randomly searched for "Italian" in Google Maps and saw this place. Decided to go there with friends. First, the decor. This place looks amazing! Lots of exposed brick, nice artwork. The staff were great, very friendly and patient to someone that didn't know what some of the menu items were. But... The food... It was excellent! Had the flaming cheese, along with a gyro plate. My friends had their Italian offerings, and everything was just perfect! I'll definitely be coming back! Parking: Parking was in front of the building and is fairly limited, so might want to come here when it isn't soo busy.

I love the Italian and Greek food at this restaurant! They had vegetarian options and I got to choose the pasta I wanted with my entree. I was surprised that a salad and bread was provided. For my appetizer I had the Spanakopita. It was flaky on the outside and filled with spinach and feta. I had the eggplant parmesan with ziti pasta for my entree. The eggplant was very tasty! It was thinly sliced and was crispy! I was so glad that I had enough for a second meal.

I took my wife here for the first time. I think the atmosphere is great and the servers were good. However, the reason for the three stars is that the food was just ok to us. Don't get me wrong, I would recommend trying this restaurant out. Because it was just opening when we got there and things probably were not fully rolling yet. So this was my honest review.
