This place is so clean, the atmosphere is so calm, the artwork on the walls is amazing, and the outside area is so cool! Their happy hour cocktails tasted great. I got the Monroe Punch which had a perfect mix of everything. As an appetizer, we got the pork belly which was super tender and full of flavor. I ordered the chicken sandwich which had the right amount of crisp, sauce, pickles and flavoring. It was very juicy and had the perfect portion. I would highly recommend coming here on a first date, or even a regular date night!

Great place for a date night. Moderately priced. There is no bad food on this menu. Server was very courteous and informative. If its your first time I would definitely try the fried chicken. Some of the best that I've ever had. My gf got the burger, it was also amazing. The menu changes up here and there which is also great. Diverse drink menu with a local breweries. It is very loud. It has high ceilings and a lot of glass windows so there is a cafeteria level of noise. We will be going back. Parking: Lots of parking on the street plus a garage.

This is my second time partaking in the food and hospitality of The Monroe. It's just as good as the first time. The various food options are great, and can you believe that I visited right after they decided to bring the Frito Pie back?! It's basically nachos but instead tortilla chips, you have Fritos/Scoops... very delicious. The Fried Chicken is still cooked to borderline southern perfection, it was dark meat only so if you have a predilection to white... maybe just don't order it? Regardless, very well seasoned and cooked. Next time I visit (which won't be a whole entire year wait) I think I will try the steak. If I had one complaint, maybe... maybe the mashed potatoes had a little too much gravy. Also, the free parking on busy days and nights will fill up fast... so be prepared to use the very nearby garage at $3 (currently) an hour. Really can't wait to come again in the very near future. Parking: Some outside free parking around the building and across the street. Will likely f
