Pretty darn good salad with avocado on the side! The only thing I had a problem with is my mango margarita! It was horrible in taste, no balance of flavors, the bartender/ server knew better than that. I never asked for salt on my rim of the glass which the drink SALTY ON top OF bitter
Honestly, expected more. While the food was ok, the atmosphere boasts more exceptional food than what is actually served. Meaning, to match the excellent and unique atmosphere, the food would need to be elevated. Yes, went at lunch and wasn't expecting dinner style food (i.e. several choices of steak or such), but did expect more than what was served. Got the grilled cheese due to lack of options and not wanting a burger. Husband got the majestic cheeseburger. We actually left half our food untouched due to fact of let down. Server was nice and attentive, atmosphere excellent, food needs more umph.
We had a wonderful dinner here during our weekend getaway. I had the filet and my boyfriend had the seared tuna. We both had a specialty cocktail as well. All the food and drinks were spectacular. The service was good as well, but I would say I’d have liked for our waitress to come by a few more times than she did. All in all it was one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. If we’re ever in Memphis again we would return in a heartbeat.
