Went to the Lowry Cafe on a Sunday and it was quite busy! We waited a while for our food but we did not mind & they seemed to be short staffed. Food was good and decently priced also. I got the breakfast sandwich with hasbrowns. They do not offer any alcoholic beverages, only coffees, sodas and juice. Dine in: Yes Outdoor seating: No Takeout: Yes Delivery: Yes Curbside pickup: No … More
It's a very light, airy space with huge windows and plentiful seating. Service was pretty quick overall. I ordered the Waffle Burger and my initial enthusiasm for the novelty was very slightly dampened by how soggy the bottom was. Having said that, the burger was prepared well and it tastes pretty dang good on a waffle! My partner ordered the steak and eggs, and I believe it was the largest cut of steak I've ever seen with breakfast! I feel this is a really quality neighborhood establishment, and I'm definitely eating here again.
My family lives 1 mile from here and we’ve spent minimum $200 in the last week ordering food after I fell on the ice and messed up my knee. I order the Benny skillet on Wednesday and found short black hair in it. My hair is BLONDE. I called the manager AJ and he said I could place and order another time and he’d give me the meal again free. Okay no big deal. I come in to show him proof of the hair I found and because DoorDash gave me a credit since I didn’t even get to eat all my food, he said I could purchase another meal but he wouldn’t give it to me free like he said. And this is after I already said I was going BUY additional food. He also went out of his way to point out that all of the cooks are wearing hats including himself and said “accidents happen.” A hat and a hair net are not the same thing. I can still see every cooks hair hanging outside of their hats so that argument is invalid. Yeah the food is good, but the customer service isn’t. I’ll pass on this place from now on.
