Food was hot and fresh. I had the jumbolaya which had pieces of sausage and chicken and perfectly seasoned with a good cajun bite as expected. Served with garlic bread. This was a very filling meal. I had the beignet for dessert and they were delicious. Definitely coming back for more. Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid friendly. Parking: Lots of free parking. Wheelchair accessibility: This was in a new building complex. With all amenities.
I wasn't terribly impressed with the food. I had a hurricane which I suspect was missing some alcohol and some jambalaya that was missing some meat. I realize we are in a recession and prices for everything are higher than Cheech & Chong ever got.....but come on. I like my creole and Cajun dishes loaded with seafood, sausage, chicken and ham. I don't want them making a guest appearance. The red beans and rice were the best of all the items we tried; nicely spiced and creamy.
AMAZING DINNER!!! Exceptional food, great atmosphere and a lot of smiles!! The seafood gumbo and red beans & rice are a must!! The gator was light and crispy. If you haven’t tried boudine balls put that on your list too! Seriously we haven’t had anything here that I wouldn’t recommend. Casual hangout with great food perfect for a margarita and some laughs Shout out to the owner, Griff, who really is ‘the lost Cajun’ full of southern charm and a big welcoming smile. *Literally couldn’t stop the guys from jumping into to the food before I took a pic but they were happy to pose ????????
