This location has terrible service and system for picking up your orders that you place online. If there's a long line inside you have to wait to get your order. They don't have a separate spot to pick up an order that you've paid for before time. Edited to add: my chicken sandwich was also given to me incorrectly. It wasn't on wheat toast, and the veg was missing. I was given tots instead of fries as well. Food was so greasy it wasn't even enjoyable.
I love going to longhorn for classic cafe-type food, especially burgers. I usually pick up to go, but I decided to dine in for the first time and was not disappointed. We were starving so we ordered fried pickles as an appetizer ahead of the meal and I kind of wish we hadn’t because it ended up being so much food. The burger was massive so I ended up eating only one onion ring and maybe 3 fries. I would only recommend an app if there are more than 2 people in your party. I knocked one star off because sometimes the food is on the salty side. This time around it was the fried pickles and the bacon, but there’s usually at least one item that has too much salt.
We weren't sure what to expect. My friend heard about this place from someone else. The mushrooms were fantastic. Good spicing. Light batter. Warning- super hot. Super good. My friend said they needed salt but my friend would salt a salt lick. Thick gravy to bathe them in was also good. My friend said their burger was great. They didnt say anything about their fries. I had the stuffed chop steak with mashed potatoes and onion rings. That " beef patty" was stuffed with cheese and jalapeños, yum. Buried in grilled onions added another layer if flavor. Ill be back for that alone. Mashed potatoes tasted like homemade, also drizzled with gravy. Onion rings were also lightly battered and delish. Longhorn Cafe- one. Hunger - zero! UPDATE- 2nd visit confirmed the first visit. Great service. Great food! I tried their claim to fame BIG JUICY burger combo. It was big. It was juicy. I also realized, I missed this before, you can up charge to have it on sourdough or jalapeño sourdough. Do it. Just
