Been coming here for a while, and the food used to be the best. However, as of recent, there been a dip in quality in the food. My mother's lonestar burger had no bbq sauce when it should, the onion ribgs were soggy, and the bacon on it was burnt. My own patty was far too crunchy and over cooked as well. The edges are black and hard. I'm very disappointed, I use to love this place and community it built. I hope it restores itself, but I don't know if we'll return any time soon.
Very small place, with only around 10ishbtables and a small horseshoe bar in back. Took 15min. Just to get a drink order and 45min to get food. Short on servers. Prices were a little high, but seems to be the norm. I did not enjoy my meal, but my family liked their selection, I had the bowl of chili. (Not again, just my opinion.) Gets a crowd, And does have a pretty good selection on the menu. Probably will go back, but not on a weekend night. Vegetarian options: They do offer a number of salads and they have a veggie burger. Kid-friendliness: Yes, a family place to go. Parking: Parking is tight, it's in a shopping center so depending on time, may have to park a little further. Wheelchair accessibility: Believe there was handicap parking and access to the sidewalk for entry . Is a smaller place so will be tight going thru the place.
We went here a lot when we first got to Red Oak around 2017, but hadn't been back in a while. Stoped in the other day with a big group and they were fairly busy, but still did a great job. I wouldn't recommend large groups (more than 4) at peak times, but other than that, this place is great. They have a full bar on the back and all the classics as far as food. Thanks to whoever left a bunch of credits on the jukebox. I enjoyed listening to my favorite music while we ate.
