The Lobster Shack

Best lobster roll ever!! Cole slaw was amazing, baked beans were awesome! Dan & Kim are great hosts and really care about the quality and your experience at their restaurant! Through conversation with Dan, we discovered that his aunt, Mary Watkins (Sgt. Watkins), was my high school English teacher. It was so cool and unexpected to make that discovery and realize how small this world is. We live 90 minutes away, but will be making the drive as often as we can to enjoy their amazing little gem of a restaurant! You won't be disappointed!!

We are driving down PCH doing a SoCal vacation, and getting a lobster roll was on my trip bucket list. The Lobster Shack was absolutely amazing - the roll was chock full of lobster, the bread perfectly toasted - and pro-tip grab a spicy lobster sauce and a lobster bisque to dunk the bread!! You know the place is good when you get a shirt to commemorate - If you’re anywhere near San Clemente, The Lobster Shack is a must.

Best lobster sandwiches in town! My husband got the, “lobster grilled cheese,” and I got the “lobster roll with coleslaw and beans!” The bread was cooked to perfection while also having a nice crunch. And the lobster was tender and juicy while also being extremely fresh! We would definitely recommend and we will definitely be returning. The restaurant is located in a nice little strip mall type thing with other restaurants and shops! The area doesn’t look like much but it was INCREDIBLE!!!
