The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Oro Valley

The Keg has great views of the Catalina Mountains and a solid steak selection with simple sides and a fine dining experience. Maddison our hostess was flexible on our reservation and Lilly our waitress was wonderful at menu assistance and helping us stay within our time limit. Calamari was very generous with plenty of nibbles tossed throughout like a jalapeno slice. Featured are the iceberg salad and sirloin steak, both delicious.

This place is top notch! We were celebrating a 70th birthday and a 31st anniversary and wanted to go someplace special. Perfect decision to dine here. We were personally greeted by the owner and they even sent over glasses of champagne for everyone at the table to commemorate our special celebrations. The food was out of this world. Filet mignon done to perfection. Twice baked potatoes were a perfect side. For dessert, without a doubt, order the Billy Miner's pie. You won't be sorry! A huge shout out to our waiter Ruby! She was on pointe! We will definitely be back!

Food was good. Price was a bit high for the quality of the food. We ordered steak, salmon, soups, kids sirloin, Moscow Mule. My family was seated right next to the kitchen exit while everyone else was at least 8 tables away from us. We got to hear the kitchen staff and see them come in and out with food. Not sure why we were sat there when there was plenty of tables in a less noisy and high traffic area. When we first arrived the hostess asked “can I help you?” As if we were lost lol. We just had to shrug it off. Once we explained we had a reservation, they sat us down. We spent about $275 for a family of 4. Wouldn’t return based on the experience alone unfortunately.
