The Irishman Pub and Eatery

Went for after funeral buffet lunch. We were in back area of restaurant with private bar and spacious seating. Opened to nice patio. Food was very good and well presented - appetizer table, buffet line and dessert table. All staff were top notch. Planning on returning on a less somber occasion. Unfortunately, parking is a challenge- small lot only. Parking: Regrettably land locked. We parked on side street and walked across Main Steet. Would have been easier to " uber" in and out of Ed Young's lot.

The food here is very good. We have never had a problem with dining here. Tonight I found it extremely hard just to get a drink at the indoor or outdoor bar. Waited over 10 minutes to get a drink at the outdoor bar. The bartender was taking the order of the guy in front of me. Completed his order and moved on to other customers. She knew I was waiting and even made eye contact several times but never came back to my area to see what I wanted. Yet she took orders from people who arrived after me. I never got a drink. Moved to the inside bar and again it was very hard to get the attention of the bartenders. People were waiting for drinks and new people would walk in and grab their attention and they would be helped first. More bartenders should be available or bartenders should help the people who have been waiting patiently. Wound up getting a table in order to get a glass of wine and 2 cups of water. Would go back but it's easier to get a drink by getting a table.

Service was very good we wanted to dine outside on the patio but like most places they were short on staff so no outdoor servers tonight, food was very good I had Shepherd's Pie and my wife had a Reuben sandwich w/ fries both had generous portions. Definitely recommend.
