Hop House has a wonderful atmosphere. With a bountiful selection of ice cold beer. Bartender Casey makes a mean drink. Chef Jason’s wings are the best in town I think. I’d give this place more than 5 stars if I could. Definitely my favorite bar in the neighborhood. Bartender Melissa is a peach ????. Always has a drink within arm’s reach.
One of the few places I know with indoor smoking - but with a separate section for non smokers (this is the kind of thing that you may want to know as the main area is smoke filled). The bar is lively with a good selection of domestics that are often rotated - get a flight as a sampling. The wing flavors are unique takes on classic flavors and delicious. Our pizza was a little soft on the bottom, but flavorful. The cost was very reasonable.
The place has a comfortable atmosphere. It’s one of those places where everyone knows your name and is extremely friendly. It has the Pittsburgh “Home Town Feel”. The wings are ???? by the chemist Jason and the drinks and service by Casey and Melissa are top notch.
