Service was awesome and food is consistently good. Had the chili fries, chili on the side, gravy and a pastrami. Everything was on point and way more than two people can eat. Best $20 bucks I spent in a while. The extra care for how they packed the chili on the side, bag of chili peppers (my fave) and ketchup was what put them over the top on this visit. First time dipping the fries in gravy. Where have they been all my life. I am a convert and may order that instead of chili fries next time :)
Came close to midnight after a game at the Rose Bowl bc the Pasadena one closes at like 9pm ???? Solid late night food. Got the wet fries with pastrami, my friend got the chili cheese fries. Massive portions, so you get what you pay for. Only downside is that by the time you get to the bottom of the pile of fries, you’re basically eating one solid mush of potato and gravy. I just threw the last 15% away. Also the cheese on the chili cheese fries wasn’t melted all the way. (Uhhh… what?? Why? )
Has a very wide selection of sandwiches that are too enticing to try! I ordered the Pastrami Dip which I found to be too salty for my taste. Also the chili fries were a bit too bland for me. Next time I go here I will try the roast beef(?).
