Holy moly!!! OMG!! THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! We were in Indianapolis for the DCI band competition, and we're looking for a place where we could eat brunch and we are so lucky we found this place. First the smother'm and cover'm is amazing! The gravy was OMG slamming! The chicken and waffles.. wow a burst of taste from the chicken paired with the waffles and syrup was goosebumps all over. The pancakes were fluffy and delicious. We also had the steak sandwich and it was flavorful and amazing as well. The wait staff is amazing and very attentive. The owner came by and even had an amazing chat with us about the town. The food was out of this world amazing. If we are ever in town again this will definitely be our number one stop!
This is a family owned breakfast place which is transitioning into evening hours also. I have been there for breakfast 3-4 times. Each time the food is hot, has very good taste and while a bit pricey, it is worth your effort to drive down 135 to this gem. I personally thought the home fries were a bit too salty for my liking. . . that doesn't mean they were not good, just a bit too salty for me. I like their omelets and sausage patties. Every couple of weeks I try to find time to go down there to eat. Will be back again.
Thick, juicy & delicious breaded tenderloin, flavorful Reuben, tasty cheese burger, surprising truffle fries were all enjoyed. Sausage gravy had way too much black pepper and not enough sausage. Biscuits were good, however. Wish they had sweet tea but unsweetened tea was acceptable. Will return soon. Our waitress was superb & had 3 small children. Our granddaughter loved her & our glasses were never empty.
