BLUESberry pancakes - 5 ????! Side of over medium eggs - 5 ????! If you have never been to Griddle Cafe before, be forewarned they serve the largest stack of pancakes I have ever seen in Los Angeles, and honestly, anywhere I've been. This definitely a positive though. I went for blueberry pancakes which are packed with, fresh juicy blueberries and topped with a sweet, blueberry sour cream topping. I added some maple syrup because I'm Canadian and I sort of have to have maple syrup. I added a side of perfectly cooked over medium eggs to add some savory balance to my meal. I only managed to finish one and one third of the three pancakes and that left me very satisfied and slightly stuffed. The people next to me shared their pancake stack which is probably the way to go. I knew what I was getting into because I've been here before so no regrets at all.
This was my family's 1st visit here & we loved it. The atmosphere is really nice & so are the views! The wait time wasn't unbearable, we were busy taking pictures near the coi fish ponds and chatting to make the time go by. Food was plentiful & very flavorful! I wish I'd gotten pics of the all the dishes my family had ordered. And those pancakes, omg! We saw people with 3 huge stacks bigger than the plates themselves! We had two kids with us who would never finish so much, but the restaurant definitely offers 1, 2, or 3 pancake stacks. It looked like they didn't give that memo to the other parties as they left 80% of their pancakes on the tables for trash, so I'm glad we asked. But I must say, our visit was really nice! Service & staff were great!
Fantastic view!! Great customer service!!! Super fun menu, there is comments and like on the items, so you could know their popular items. Pancakes are great. Take pictures of the back of the restaurant.
