The Golden Bite

Terrible experience here! I visited here about two weeks ago with my friend. It all started when we ordered margaritas and told the server (Mary) that there wasn’t enough flavor. Instead of her just adding more flavor to satisfy the customer, she charges us a dollar each for a “sauce” cup of flavor. My friend asked Mary about the charge on the receipt and she IMMEDIATELY got an attitude. Long story short my friend is a frequent customer and spent over $60 here… but she wasn’t satisfied with the service, so she tipped only $1. We had two separate tabs, and I tipped! As we were walking out, instead of just ignoring the $1 tip, Mary comes outside behind us and places the dollar on the ledge of the restaurant! Very unprofessional to say the least. I’ve been a server before and some people won’t tip AT ALL, but this definitely isn’t the way to act.

I’ve started to come in here weekly or twice a week for Birria Tacos— usually with noodles! Their food and drinks are so delicious! I love that they’re family owned and that everyone is so friendly.

The price is right, the food is right, it is indeed the golden bite! Was trekking back to Atlanta and this place popped up. Fantastic. I've worked in a Mexican restaurant and this place made me feel like I had been eating a different side of Mexico all my life. Definitely recommend, have time and enjoy it.
