The Flower Corner

Placed an online order with this florist for my grandmother earlier in the week for delivery today (the Friday before Mother's Day and the anniversary of my grandfather's passing). I called today to verify the order and confirm delivery. I was rudely responded to "all orders will be delivered at some point today." My response was ok, thank you - I was just verifying the order since I live out of town. The next thing I know I was hung up on. I was actually stunned at this interaction. Not a great introduction for a first time customer. Very poor customer service - I hope that the flower arrangement is nicer than the person who answered the phone.

I didn't even want to give them one star. My son ordered flowers for me Mother's Day 2020. Pay the extra $15 to have them delivered on Mother's Day. He bought the $89 bouquet. Friday night before Mother's Day the flower show up. I could not believe what he paid $89 for. I could have gone to Publix Walmart any other store and bought the same bouquet for about $15. I've purchased many flowers over the years online and had them shipped to my parents in New York. So I know what an $89 bouquet should look like this was not it. Gave my son the name of a florist here in Florida and told him to call them directly. I do not recommend this florist. They are a huge rip-off.

I ordered flowers on Monday, 9/2, to be delivered on Tuesday, 9/3 and received a confirmation email from the Flower Corner. The flowers were never delivered. I left a message late Tuesday afternoon, and never received a call back. Still no flowers on Wednesday. When I finally took a break at work to call, I was told they never received the order (despite an email confirmation from them). At no point did anyone offer any way to resolve the problem, or get flowers to my mother for her birthday. Very poor customer service.
