Might've been the most overrated restaurant I've been to. First off, for a restaurant of this level, why do they cram so many tables in a small room? The servers were struggling to get between the tables. I felt like I had more space for our party at Starbucks than in this restaurant. Would not recommend indoor seating for those that may get over stimulated easily. The servers were very nice and attentive. No complaints there. The food came out pretty slow though, so it seems like the kitchen may have needed more help. The food was truly a mixed bag. The rack of lambs was cooked to perfection and portion size was great as well. The steak was also cooked great and had a nice smokey flavor. Personally I wish the steak was smaller, 12-13oz is a bit over kill and I would've preferred they give us smaller portions for a slightly less price. The pork chop had a good cook on it, but it felt like they forgot to take it out of the brine for a week. I like my food on the salty side but I had to
An absolute wonderful spot! I once came here and there were no tables so they sat us at the bar, we still had a great time, but this time we actually were able to get a table and the service was absolutely kind, patient and not what I expected. It was the perfect setting to celebrate my anniversary. Loved that this was in Old Sacramento, and I can't wait to return for a tasty meal!
Great customer service. Good food. We planned to dine outside but no seats available so we dined inside. This restaurant is pricy but worth trying.
