The Drexel

Lovely! We stopped in for drinks around 4:00 and it was such a lovely space. Amazing espresso, gorgeous cocktails. I loved how the vibe inside flowed out to the patio. I had the Aegean Negroni and it was fantastic. Had a little bit of anise vibes and was so interesting. Lovely cocktail. My partner had the Argos which was equally gorgeous. Only reason it isn’t 5 stars is because the staff was a little pushy on wanting us to order food. We spent quite a bit on cocktails, made it clear we were only stopping in for drinks before our dinner plans when we were being seated, the restaurant was completely empty, and repeated it a couple times and they still wanted us to order food. I’m sure it was just kindness out of caution and making sure we didn’t need anything… but it was a little much. Kind of like a sales pitch. No matter how many times they tell me the food it great, it doesn’t change that I’ve got dinner plans in 40 minutes haha. Anyway, great place. Might be better if you’re coming f

Our server Jade was fantastic. Overall service was great and will definitely come back before heading back home. Greek goddess drink was refreshing! The pilsner beer was great as well. The squid! The most tender perfection of squid I've ever had. The flat iron chicken, super tender, simple, favorable! Red snapper was delicious with the salmoriglio sauce! Lastly, the dessert strawberry pavlova was a perfect way to end the delicious food here at The Drexel!

One of my top 5 restaurants in all of Miami. Best salad in Miami Beach, period. Delicious grilled chicken and pizza. Also love the sangria and wine list. Phenomenal service. Wonderful ambiance sitting outside with view of the Drexel/Española Way plaza. I go here 1-2 times a week.
