The Dive on Augusta

Being a northerner, not overly experienced in the ways of Southern BBQ. The Dive makes it easy, just because their food is so darn good. Mom forced us to eat Brussel sprouts as a kid. Now we gladly chow them here - crispy grilled with bacon. Try those! And the ribs are juicy, flavorful and filling. Don’t miss this gem of a find.

The atmosphere was great, very comfy and relaxed. The waiter was awesome, had patience with us. The food was fabulous!! Highly recommend.

I was so disappointed with this place. I was excited to try it because it had great reviews, but I honestly have no idea how it does. I ordered online which was an easy, straight-forward process. The issue came with the actual food. I sent my husband to pick up the meal, so he didn't check for accuracy. None of the condiments or veggies were included which I don't understand because requesting them was an entire step on the order process. Secondly, the burger was so greasy and the meat so fatty that it was inedible. The Mac and cheese was also super greasy and had no flavor. We also had an order of fried okra which was not seasoned at all. My 6 year old wouldn't even eat her burger and she has never turned away a burger. My husband's Brussel sprouts were dry and tasteless. Lastly, the sesame seed buns were put on the griddle to toast and they just ended up tasting like burnt sesame seeds. Needless to say, my family will not be wasting our money here again.
