Love the service, each worker Interacted with was lovely. Food was good, I wasn't blown away, but I would go again. Loved the warm olives, pleasantly surprised. We got the crab croquettes, olives, pint of prawns, and lamb shepherd pie.
So good we went twice in one weekend! The dog room is my absolute favorite - so many beautiful pieces of artwork and figurines that are so fun to look at while you're enjoying your meal. Honestly, the ambience of this entire place is spot on and really cozy. The service was excellent and the food & drinks were fantastic. Highly recommend the Jungle Lion! We had the ricotta appetizer, fish & chips, and dandy burger.. and are still drooling over the warm bread and salted butter. Can't wait for our next visit!
We got the royal experience afternoon tea. Service was great, atmosphere was so nice, food was good. My critique would be that we were disappointed that the tea was bags not loose leaf and our pot ended up over steeped by the end. The sandwiches were very very good, and the pastries were good not great. However the selection, variety and presentation was phenomenal.
