I love this location and the open airy facility I just cannot say the same for the food. On a recent business day trip to Richmond I wanted to visit Carytown and try the vegetarian menus. The Daily K&B was suggested. My visit was on a beautiful sunny day so all of the windows and patio area were open allowing a comfortable breeze throughout the restaurant. The staff was great and my waitress was attentive as she could be considering how busy the patio became. I ordered the Vegetarian Burger which according to the menu was made with seeds, nuts and brown rice, all components that should make a great Veggie Burger. As a side I selected the sweet potato fries. I was hoping for a great lunch before I headed to the airport. Well unfortunately I need to say this was the worst veggie burger I have eaten in my 30 plus years as a vegetarian. Best place we ate while visiting Richmond from MA. The ambiance is amazing. Food is DELICIOUS. They have so many gluten free options. I wish I could live inside this restaurant.
My boyfriend and I went here for breakfast meeting his two local friends in the area for a catch up session and it was nice. Our groups huge issue that needs to be addressed is flies! They were everywhere on us and it was annoying and honestly a bit unpleasant too. They need to close the door or buy a bug catcher or use a fan. Seriously this was the opinion of 4 people. Parking - look at my photos folks. I’ve added the parking lot right across the street from the restaurant. It’s free parking too (not able to park between 3am to 7am though). Service was good. Bathroom- very attentive to guest requests for soap. Coffee - had non dairy options. Water - crafts was good. Food - banana bread, butter was good and berries too. Quinoa bowl- a good portion. Good blender of flavors. Please note it’s served with two poached eggs. Would order again. Again watch out for the flies!
