The Cracked Egg

We visited this Cracked Egg location for the first time (Sunday around 11:30am). The place was busy and we were seated quickly. The menu has something for everyone. Everyone in our group ordered something different. The house potatoes are better than the hash browns. If your choice is Coffee Cake or Toast, order the Coffee Cake. We had an apple cinnamon Coffee Cake. It was so good we ordered some to go. Tracy was our server and did an exceptional job. The food is very good, but we would come back for the service.

I loved the place. Had that country kitchen vibe. Enjoyed the sassy decor. Such a large menu selection. Everything from traditional breakfast, lunch, and dinner items to their own twist on classics. I have recently transitioned into a vegetarian diet on my way to becoming a vegan possibly. I ordered an omelette, asked for a few tweaks, and must say I thoroughly enjoyed it! It was a moral booster for sure.

This place is awesome. I got the Chile verde huevos rancheros with seasoned potatoes and every bite was perfection. I also had the oversized oatmeal which was amazing as well but forgot to take a picture. It took almost 30 minutes for my food to come out but it was easily worth the wait. Will be back. Some of the best breakfast easily for me.
