The Country Club Bar and Grill

I can't say enough about The Country Club. From the moment you walk in the door you feel at home. It's a comfortable, cozy atmosphere that is welcoming for all types... from gathering around the fireplace in the fall or an evening on the patio for a quick lunch with coworkers, happy hour or even date night...you can't go wrong. Service is always attentive and timely. Cocktails are delicious and they have a great selection of bottled and draught beer. I ordered the double smash burger and my wife ordered the fish tacos. Best in St. Louis We were pleasantly surprised to hear the bread used in house was from a local bakery, Vitale's. It's neat to see local family owned businesses working together. I will be back, I would recommend The Country Club and I look forward to supporting local.

First off the pictures were deceitful. The place was fine, service was fine. But we we trying to go to the Melting Pot and so the guy said they were full and then recommended the place next door. It was extremely casual. I didnt like their ceaser salad. It was just a completely different atmosphere than we thought we were going to get. We wont be back. Like i said it was fine, but when we go out we want it to be better than fine

Met some friends for dinner (7 people). Food was OK for the most part. One person got their side as they were finishing their meal, one person had ice water poured over their foot while someone else's glass was being refilled and my dinner was basically inedible. Asked for a plain chicken breast, no hot sauce and a baked potato. Chicken was soaked in hot sauce...according to our server the chicken is marinated in hot sauce but she didn't add any additional and the baked potato was rock hard halfway through. No offer to remake anything...used to go there regularly...NEVER AGAIN!
