The Coffee House at Second and Bridge

This is the cutest place in all of Franklin! Brunch was absolutely delicious. I was so pleased with my crepes. I loved that I was given a generous amount of whipped cream in the side. I feel like most places skimp on things like that, but I had plenty here. Great place to stop!

I would give 4.5 stars if I could, it was mostly a great experience. This place is adorable, lots of cute seating options, my coffee was delicious as was my crepe (strawberries and creme). The staff were very friendly and very helpful, and the place overall has a very welcoming, homey atmosphere. You can get a ceramic mug, but the default is a paper mug which is slightly disappointing. The main reason I would take points off was that my friend who's gluten free, and asked about it when ordering to avoid accidentally ordering any gluten, had a little muffin that came with her side of eggs and had to cut off the part of the eggs that touched it. I can't be too upset because we didn't ask them to remake it and I feel confident they would have, but it was still slightly stressful for her to get a plate with something on it that (we assume) was mostly gluten.

I used to love this place but not anymore. While the coffee is good the kitchen is a mess. I ordered food online for pickup. I ordered it at 11:20 am, pickup time was 11:45. I show up late at 11:55 to pick up my food and it still isn’t ready. 10 mins of standing there they bring it out. The staff did not include a fork, so I had to run back and ask for one. “$16 worth of food” and this is what I got. Scrambled eggs that looked like a crepe, and one piece of toast cut in half. I wish I had just gone to a truck stop for lunch. This is ridiculous.
