Wow!!! I wasn’t sure how I’d like the “old school”, colonial feel - but this place is class, comfortable elegance, and modern luxury all the way! They upgraded my room because I expressed my excitement about taking a bath, and it was glorious! I took a bath, a shower, and had the best sleep in their amazing linens and bed. This is one of the only hotels in Colorado I’ve found that offers 24 hour room service, including drinks, but we also had the option of bar hopping around town since everything is walk able. Their free breakfast is wonderful with various selections and all the staff we encountered were so friendly! Thank you Cliff House - I will be back!!!
This is such an amazing place. The staff went out of their way to help us get our big van parked. There was live music in the bar. The many little details of this hotel are just wonderful. There are live plants everywhere inside. We called late like 30 minutes before the kitchen closed and got room service with a smile! It is a vintage hotel. With so many wonderful features you really must go. Our room was more like staying in a home than a hotel.
My boyfriend and I recently stayed here for one night as a quick staycation, and we were blown away by the cliff house! From the moment we drove up, Shawn the valet man greeted us with a big smile and helped us with our bags. Parking is only $15 in a covered garage for the entire stay. They even let us keep it parked there for our entire second day even though we had checked out in the morning. Shawn was extremely helpful and friendly the many times we interacted with him, and he really set the tone well for our stay. Jake at the front desk checked us in and was also an extremely pleasant person. We got an upgraded much larger room than we payed for with a beautiful fireplace, lots of windows, and the comfiest bed I’ve ever slept on. The hotel is in a beautiful location right downtown in easy walking distance to nearly everything you could want to do in Manitou.
