Every time I’ve been here, the food has been great. I have especially enjoyed lunches here. For dinner, it would have been nice to have an area to wait for our table reservation. The bar and restaurant areas got very crowded and loud. I could barely hear our waiter even though he was standing right next to me. With the mix of noise, low lighting, and dark, refined decor, it felt like the evening ambiance wanted to be more intimate than it was.
My husband received a very generous gift card for The Capital Grille so we used it for our anniversary dinner and splurged a bit! It is an incredibly fancy and upscale restaurant. We felt a little bit out of place when first arrived, but the service was excellent and the food was absolutely divine. We started with the cherrywood smoked bacon appetizer, which literally just melts in your mouth. We each ordered a New York strip and both were cooked to perfection. We got sides of asparagus and brussels sprouts. We definitely favored the brussels sprouts. It was overall a very nice experience, but it was very expensive and I don’t know that we would be willing to spend that much money on a dinner out again.
