It saddens me to say this, but the food wasn't good at all. I don't live near the restaurant, so to go that far just for a carryout says I must have been impressed at some point. I used to go there every year for my bday dinner, but this time they missed the mark. My cheesecake was absolutely delicious, but the calamari didn't look like it was cooked thoroughly based on the color & texture after trying a piece. After putting it in the pan to cook it a little longer, it was much better, but my stomach didn't agree & I developed a very close relationship with my toilet for the next 16 hours! ????☹️????????
Have never been here before, but will definitely be returning. The staff at the front door and hostess were super friendly and welcoming. The hostess asked if we were there for a special occasion and we were there for my birthday. She said she would set up our table and be right back. To my surprise, they placed a birthday note and confetti on the table before taking us back! Our server, Ebony, was extremely friendly and attentive. It's always great when staff are able to list off favorite menu items of their own because it makes the whole experience more enjoyable. Ebony was quick to place orders and bring out fresh plates and clear used items from the table- which other establishments often miss. Can't wait to come back!
