My best friend girl took me for my birthday and it was a lovely experience. The food was amazing, and our server Jeff was very attentive and accommodating. The added bonus is that Jeff has a silky baritone voice that added to the night. Dine in: Yes … More
Expensive, but completely worth it! Every mouthful was heavenly, although the brussel sprouts were too sweet for our taste and became too much after a while. I'm sure many would still love them. The asparagus was awesome along with the spinach with no bitterness, although the garlic did not look confit. The ribeye was cooked perfectly medium well and full of flavor. Although I told them that I had no special requests, I did tell them that we were celebrating our anniversary, and so they brought out a beautiful little desert plate. The flour-less chocolate cake and cheesecake were incredibly light and wonderful. Along with the incredible service, The Capital Grille was an absolute experience. Impressive for a restaurant whose name conjured an image of a greasy roadside dinner when my wife first mentioned the name ????
The food was exceptional. I haven't been back to this place in 5 years and it still holds its standards. The ambience was still nice as I remembered. I loved my seabass dish. Very flavorful. We got tuna tartare and lobster and crab cakes for our appetizers. We got wild mushrooms and Brussels sprouts for side dishes and the portions were big enough for 4 people to share. I loved how flavorful the Brussels sprouts were. Ended the night with creamy strawberry cheesecake and you could never go wrong with cheesecakes. Staff was very friendly, polite and attentive. I was very happy with the whole experience all over again. Definitely coming back soon.
