I have been hearing about this restaurant for years and decided to give it a try. Came here with friends during happy hour which is from 4 to 6:30 pm and the drinks were reasonably priced. We also decided to stay and have dinner afterwards. My favorite dishes were Chicken Under the Brick (generous portion, serves 2 easily), Crispy Octopus and Short Rib Poutine. Service was a bit slow due to the crowds but our server was friendly and knowledgeable. Great Restaurant !! Highly recommend.
First time here and it was alright. The servers were nice and friendly, I have no complaints about the staff. The macaroni with hot Cheetos and fried chicken was really good, the gumbo was okay, the drinks were alright, the prices are high (one piece of fried chicken $8). I had high hopes for the corn bread because of the picture on their website… it did not look, taste, or feel like corn bread. It was burnt and tasted like a dry coffee cake without the soft crumbs on top. Overall it was mediocre food for a high price, something much cheaper and tastier exists. Could I come here again? Possibly. Would I really want to? Not really.
Parking can be a bit hard to come by. Food it's pretty good but wish the waffles were less soggy. The BEC seems simple but it was done perfectly and was yummy. Food : 4/5 | Service : 5/5 | Atmosphere : 4/5 … More
