The Armory Restaurant

This was a pretty good! The food is tastey, the music is awesome and I absolutely loved the decor. We came when it was pretty sparse so that could be why my waitress forgot my lemons? Not that big of deal.My husband had the Carne Asada burrito and he wasn't too crazy about it. I believe it was the Cali burrito.

Limited menu, just what the kitchen is making that day, and what they make is pretty simple, but it's good. Stuff like shells or spaghetti with sauce, and you can get meatball(s) or sausage(s) with it; beans and greens; lentil soup; peas and macaroni; chicken soup; lasagna; pasta fagiole; etc. Basic simple old fashioned Italian food, served unpretentiously, in unfancy surroundings. Very satisfying to me, but probably not everyone's thing.

Rosie is an absolute doll and took the time to tell us all about the history of the restaurant. Great place for classic Italian cooking in a relaxed atmosphere. We can't wait to come back! ????
