Good food, but very poor service. I was with two other individuals. Their food came quickly. My fish and chips didn't come till 45 minutes after my friends food arrived. Fish and chips does not take long to cook. My friends were done eating by the time I got my food. I asked 3 times and was told each time it would be out shortly or that the fish was in the fryer now. It still didn't come. I had to ask a fourth time. I was given 40% off but this seemed very minimal for the level of inconvenience. I never got a real answer as to why it was so late. The manager never came by to check on me, apologize or give answers. I would be hesitant to recommend due to service and minimal effort to correct the mistake.
We sat in the main room by the bar. Cara took excellent care of us. We were not ignored in the slightest. Granted it was a Wednesday night. And not overly busy. But none the less it was above and beyond. I hope on my next visit. If Cara has seating available. In today's world we need more young people with care for what they do.
Stopped in for a late lunch, thankfully didn't wait long for a table. Had fried pickles as an appetizer, which had a good pickle to breading ratio. Three entrees: cheesesteak (spicy variation), poutine, and club sandwich. We all agreed that we'd prefer the fries to be cooked longer, but overall our food was tasty.
