The American Sector

I have been to more than a few museums. I typically avoid the in-house dining due to the food being "so-so" and the price being sky-high. However, and on this occasion, we chose to try out the American Sector during our visit. And wow was I surprised. The food is very good. But what impressed me the most was our service. Our server was exceptional! Very impressive!

Very nice place for lunch after you tour the museum! The staff are great & very attentive! The classic cheeseburger was perfectly done! Their patty melt is one of the best I've ever had! The fries are seasoned so perfectly you don't need dipping sauce!

Didn't realize this is part of the National WWII Museum here until after we ate. Solid spot, fresh and hot food good portions and service Had the gumbo for lunch. Decent portion $11 for a big bowl. Good flavor with just a tad of spice. Add some Tabasco and it's perfect for me. The rest of the group had shrimp po boy (BIG), chicken sandwich, patty melt and a Burger. All were reasonably priced considering the location and portions were good.
