Thayer Bros Deli & Grille

Earlier this summer, I made a list of area restaurants where I had never visited. Decided today was the day to head to Thayer's. Wow! It really is as good as the reviews indicated. I had a garden salad and a bowl of beef barley soup. The soup was excellent! It is made fresh on site. The salad was very fresh. I was bummed they no longer offer any fruit pies, but very excited that they serve stuffed cabbage rolls every Monday! I will be heading back to give them a try. The dining area had plenty of patrons. It is clean . The decor is dated, but it adds to the charm of the location. Wait staff work very hard to make sure you have what you need. I loved the food selection and can't wait to go back to try the cabbage rolls.

I always wanted to come here. Glad I finally did! Atmosphere was good the Ladies were super friendly and the food was excellent!

Have been coming here with the family for years. Food is always delicious and homemade! Their late mom was a tremendous Cook and you can still see it in all the meals. You never leave here hungry and each meal comes with homemade soup. Atmosphere is also great. Definitely a small town type feel with everyone being very friendly. I believe they are still cash only so prepare for that.
