The yummiest Vietnamese pork chop on rice restaurant imo. Been going for over a decade and the food is consistently delicious and made right. Their #28 combo is a great start fit anyone wanting to try this dish because it has a bit of everything. BBQ pork chop, BBQ shrimp, etc is where their flavor really stands out, so try these first before moving on to other dishes. Take out is convenient and there's enough food typically for 2 meals in a combo (1 meal if you're very hungry or eat a lot each meal). Like most restaurants in Bolsa Ave, cash is king, so bring enough. Kid-friendliness: As long as they're not crying up a storm or causing a tantrum, bring the little ones. Very casual restaurant. Parking: Typically no issues finding parking immediately in the lot in front of the store. Lanes are narrow, so if you've got a huge SUV, have fun opening your door. For Com Tam (broken rice), there is no better place in terms of quality and taste. The only stipend is that this place is expensive and the portions are smaller compared to others around. This place is so good. I've been going here for years with my family since I was a kid. My usual dish is the combo 8 - com tam thit nuong with bi, cha, and ta hau ky. Com Tam is rice that's made from short grain rice, Bi is dried shredded pork skin, cha is a delicious egg cake made with vermicelli, ground pork, egg, and mushrooms, and ta hau ky is shrimp cake wrapped with fried tofu skin. You get complimentary soup and it's eaten with a sweet fish sauce that's poured over the rice. Bon appetit!
