This place like a lot of others has really good service but just lacks in food quality. I got an order of their Thai BBQ chicken, now I expected it to be grilled or roasted but it was all deep fried. I can get behind fried chicken but when it’s super dry and basically is like chewing on denim is where it gets hard for me. i’ll definitely try them again as i believe restaurants deserve 2nd chances.
I probably won’t be going back to this restaurant, not because of staff or the food not being good, but it’s just too expensive for what I was given. I placed a To Go order, which maybe the portions are bigger if you dine in the restaurant? The employee that gave me my food and rang me up was very nice. I had ordered the Crazy Seafood and a Thai Iced Coffee to the tune of $30 after tax. The Crazy Seafood meal had good flavor and everything was cooked well. However, the portion was very very small for the price in my opinion. In fact the container I received my food in seemed to be leftover sized. I did not care for the Thai Iced Coffee, it was my first time trying that, usually I get Thai Iced Tea and I will stick to that in the future. TLDR: Portion to price ratio a big no thanks. Thai Iced Tea > Thai Iced Coffee
I came back from Bangkok not too long ago and was really looking for something authentic, as the chilis and other spices they use over there just aren't used here as much. However, Thai Terrace always puts out a good dish and it tastes good...I really like their Pad Kee Mao and their Basil Chicken, but i haven't ever had a bad meal from them. So thank you. That being said, if you ever break out the authentic Thai chilis for a meal - let me know - i'd happily pay more as the chilis they have in Thailand are so different and have some amazing flavors, but I just wish more were here. That being said, TT does a great job and I appreciate having them so close.
