TGI Fridays

What happened to TGI Fridays? I worked there as a bartender when I was in my 20s. I tended bar in a lot of places and their training was the best. This visit my drinks were inconsistent and food was average. But the bartender left while we were there and the manager refused to cover the bar. He just shut it down. At 6pm! A restaurant whose success was due to its great bar! When we tried to talk to the manager about it, he just said sorry and didn't even stop walking to talk. I guess that's why there were only 3 tables with people at 6pm.

I ordered the whiskey glaze burger well done and I received it medium. I was part of a party of 4 and Ricardo was our waiter. He didn't greet us when he took our order and didn't bother to write down our order. I wasn't surprised when our food didn't come out right. What did surprise me was that he didn't apologize for getting it wrong and made it clear he could care less. He actually offered to put my burger that I took one bite out of back on the grill! That was the only remedy he offered. I politely declined and informed him I would pay for the fries and drink but not the burger since I knew I couldn't eat it half cooked. He didn't come back and check on the rest of my party to see if their food was okay or needed a refill or anything. We had to wait forever to receive our bill. He sat it on the table and walked away. I had to flag him down again to ask that he separate the bill. He then informed me that he took my entire meal off because I didn't eat it and walked away again. Look

I ordered the grilled salmon with a side of mac & cheese. The food was excellently made and would definitely go back.
