TGI Fridays

We had a great date-night dinner at TGI Friday's. We got there around 9:15 and the restaurant wasn't crowded at all. I had the Jack's whiskey glazed sampler as my meal, along with a Caesar salad. My husband had the sizzling chicken and cheese and added shrimp. All the food was good. Our only issue was waiting for what seemed like too long for my husband's beer to be brought to the table. The server asked "Did they not bring your beer?" So, maybe someone from the bar was supposed to bring it. Then we waited even longer for our server to bring straws. Kinda need those. Other than those two hiccups, we really enjoyed it.

The staff was polite and the service was quick.. however our burgers came out very soggy and just not good. The burger fell apart in my hands before I even took a bite. The part that frustrated me the most though… my family of 6 was automatically charged an 18% gratuity at the conclusion of the meal. I would have tipped 20% just simply because our waitress was very nice.. but 18% required for a table of 2 adults and 4 young kids?

I had a terrible experience. The young male server didn't act like he wanted to be at work that day. I love my people but he was wrong. I asked him was he ok, he shrugged his shoulders and said yeah. Then I order a alcohol beverage when it came to the table someone ate my orange ???? and just left the peel. I have pictures. I refused the drink and the young man was mad. I ordered salmon and mashed potatoes while it wasn't mashed it had chunks of hard potatoes in it. Yes I have pictures. Very bad experience. ????
