TGI Fridays

I thought I would treat myself to lunch. I like TGI Fridays. I never get an appetizer, but decided to try. I ordered the loaded bake potatoes. What a disappointment. Not loaded and bit greasy. On the bright side , Steve my server was super nice amd the place was clean, sanitized and pleasant. Social distance was strictly enforced. My chicken and shrimp with mac'n cheese was good.

I dine here all the time. And usually have such a great experience. Decided to go with some coworkers (party of 7) on Friday night. The server was new so we did cut him some slack as he was still learning. However, there was so much chaos with our drinks and our order. One of our friends didn’t get his meal until 30mins after the rest of us. We did not make a complaint at this point. We received our checks and saw a service charge on each check. That no one told us about. We were fine with the fee but still wanted to be informed before we just pay the bills. We requested a manager and the manager was extremely rude and simply said “no we don’t tell our customers, they’ll just read it on the bill” we expressed our frustration and said this SHOULD be told. He did nothing. It took about an hour for someone to come grab our payment. Highly disappointed.

I used to enjoy coming to this Friday's. Right now I am definitely frustrated, when we received our plates for our appetizers all four were all dirty. Now when we received our appetizers, we got the wrong appetizer. Now onto our orders they were not 100% correct so we had to keep correcting our order after it was placed in front of us. Moving on to the utensils we never had any at our table. So once we asked someone else, who was so helpful by the way, our utensils were dirty, we had to get about two more and then we just ended up cleaning them ourselves. So we just ended up packing up early to go home. This experience was not an ideal one. I will not be back.
