Texas Roadhouse

I only have my experience in a Texas, Texas Roadhouse to compare to. When I lived in Texas I loved going there so I knew I wanted to come to one here in the Midwest just to see. We joined the waitlist online and in our hour commute, we killed most of the time we needed to wait. We got there and got a table within 5 minutes. Generally everyone is very nice. We got drinks fast but food took ages to get to us. I wish our waiter would have checked up on us more often. But overall everything was good but it didn't quite meet expectations. Not bad though!

1st time visiting, very pleasant experience. Called ahead to be put on the waiting list, so once we pulled into the lot we didn't have to wait more than 40 seconds to get seated. Had two Margaritas, both of them as big as a softball, sweet and tasty. Knew I shouldn't have ordered the combination appetizer platter, but loved the rattlesnake bites regardless. The 14 oz rib eye was very juicy and tender. Ordered it medium rare but it was probably a little closer to medium. Not a big deal, still very tasty. Waitress was very attentive and kind to my friend and I, And the dining room was packed even at 5 o'clock, clearly this place is still a favorite watering hole even after the pandemic has calmed down. No more peanuts on the floor however, I guess that era has come and gone for this franchise. It might be a chain but at least they have their ducks in a row, the whole experience lasted about an hour and we left too full to walk in a straight line. Fair warning, Perhaps skip the appetiz
