My Husband took me out for Dinner to the Texas Roadhouse for my 65th Birthday!! I was delightfully surprised to walk in and the atmosphere was similar to the Wild West type of restaurant with lots of wooden booths and the waitstaff was so friendly and reaching out to us and coming by our table to talk with us!! My husband and I both ordered steak for our dinner and it was delicious and we also had dessert!! I was amazed how many people they could fit into that restaurant and I would definitely like to go back again and bring our kids and their spouses... Well done Texas Roadhouse!! ❤
Texas Roadhouse is a great place to meet a group for dinner. It’s definitely not a fancy steak place, but that’s kind of the point! They have decent prices and the food is pretty good. Gotta love the fresh rolls with the cinnamon butter! I tried the sirloin and barbecue chicken combo this time and ordered the caesar salad and mac n cheese as my sides. The salad tasted fresh and I loved that it came with plenty of cheese. The mac n cheese was very creamy and delicious as well. The chicken had a little too much sauce on it, but I ended up not really minding because it was extremely tender! The only issue I had was with the cook on the sirloin. I asked for it cooked medium and it came very well done. I usually don’t like to complain or send things back, but it was way over cooked. Our server was very kind about it and brought me a new steak. The second steak was still a little over cooked (it was medium well, rather than medium).
